Abstract

I am delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Volume 2 of the UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence. Readers of Volume 1 will already know that the Journal represents a new initiative in the Faculty's publications, in the sense that it brings together the UCL Jurisprudence Review and the UCL Human Rights Review and replaces them with a journal that, while continuing to publish work in legal theory and human rights, now has a more generalist perspective. A glance down the Table of Contents of this volume - with its balanced selection of articles on topics ranging from trusts to trademarks to temporality - immediately demonstrates how very skillfully the current editorial board has carried forward the aims of the Journal.
