Suerte de Banderillas

Abstract

Taken during the annual bull fight in Cordoba, Spain. This is one of the earliest stages of the bullfight, when the matadors are trying to disorientate and distract the bull with their multi-colored capes. When the bull is finally in the correct position, a single matador will insert around six narrow blades into its back to tranquilise it further.
