International Perspectives in Medieval Archaeology: selected papers from EMASS in London, 2012

Tom Williams, Guest Editor This collection presents a selection of the best papers delivered at the Early Medieval Archaeology Student Symposium (EMASS) held at UCL’s Institute of Archaeology in May 2012. Its subjects range widely in geographical and chronological focus, but are unified in representing the cutting-edge of post-graduate research in the field of Medieval Archaeology and related disciplines. This special volume of PIA is supplemented by reviews of recent publications in the field, an overview of recent research projects on medieval topics undertaken at the Institute of Archaeology and a full list of abstracts of the papers presented at EMASS 2012.
