Ancient Lives, New Stories: Current Research on the Ancient Near East was a conference held in London at the British Museum between 1st and 2nd December 2018, organised by Xosé L. Hermoso-Buxán and Mathilde Touillon-Ricci. The papers in this special issue comprise the proceedings of that conference and have been edited by the organisers, with the support of Papers from the Institute of Archaeology.
